Tyreus January Promotion -> Half Details

Tyreus will be having another promotion this January. It mainly focused around this blog. And, for once, this isn’t a knowledge contest. Allowing everyone (including most staff members) to join in on the fun. Now down to the unfinalized details.

We’re shooting for January 10th 12 2008, but it might be later
The objective will to be to find a WordPress 2.7 compatible theme
The theme must be free of charge, and totally legal within the United States of America
You can, if you prefer, to make a template. However, you must not use any copyrighted material unless you are given direct permission from the copyright holder.
I will have the final say in picking the best theme.
Please note that if you submit a template you made and decide to make something extra, it will NOT make me any more liable to pick your theme. I will simply count it as a gift. I would appreciate it greatly, however.
The prize will be a awesome new package! You’ll get upgraded features without having to post any more than your current package. Please note however, you are stuck at this posting rate. And you won’t be able to downgrade without losing your upgraded prized package.

Tyreus Referrals 0.4

It’s finally here! The actual referral core is in incorporated! It also includes some major security updates. Bete testing has also been started with the Tyreus.com Staff Not much more to post here. I’ll keep you guys updated with the testing!

Tyreus Referrals 0.3.9

Referrals 0.3.9 includes three new features! As well as security updates. I won’t really explain any of them sice it’s REALLY obvious what they do. The Debug feature, however, just prints the $_SESSION super global. Useful to see what’s in your Session. It’ll be removed when I no longer need it.

I’ll also be rounding up so Beta testers. And I’ll make a serperate post on that soon. Stay tuned for further updates and goodieness.

Tyreus Referrals: Getting There!

Development is chugging along. Although Garrett hasn’t been making things easy…

Probably something wrong with the way I’m sending emails. But everybody but him is getting them. I know the normal way. But I was trying to take advantage of PHP’s Output buffering. I might have to switch back to the old fashioned way.

But anyways, it’s poring. Not as bad as it was. It’s going to get worse though. It’s weird. We’re in the middle of the storm but right now it’s barely raining compared to just five minutes ago.

So far I’ve finished the following functions: Registration, Account Activation, Login, Forgot your Password, My Referral URL, and Basic Account Statistics. Curious as to what some of these functions are and what they do? You’ll find out soon enough!
