How to get Your SSBB Pictures on Your Computer
If you have Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii you’ve probably taken a couple pictures from the pause menu during a Brawl. This is a complete and simple step-by-step guide on how to get your Brawl images from an SD Card.
Requirements:
- Nintendo Wii
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl
- SD Card
- Computer
- SD Card Reader
- SSBB Bin File Viewer Download Here –> SSBB Bin File Viewer
Instructions:
- Take a screenshot or two in SSBB and then save it to an SD Card
- Insert the SD Card into your SD Card Reader
- Open the file you downloaded earlier.
- Click the Open button in the top left corner of the screen.
- Go into My Computer (Windows XP) or simply Computer (Windows Vista)
- Look for the card.
- Double click on the SD Card to navigate into it.
- Look for a folder called “private”, then open it.
- Look for a folder called “wii”, then open it.
- Look for a folder called “app”, then open it.
- Look for a folder called “RSBE”, then open it.
- Look for a folder called “al”, then open it.
- Once you are finally in, you’ll see a bunch of odd looking, oddly named .bin files. If you try to open them using an image editor or viewer you’ll probably get some form of error message.
- These files are encrypted JPEG files. We need to use the SSBB Bin File Viewer to decrypt / convert them.
- Select a file you’d like to convert.
- You’ll see your screenshot now in the window.
- Click the Save button and go to the desired output directory. Add a filename then click Save.
That’s all there is to it. Now this program has been other features and functions that allow you to convert many files at once and adjust image quality. This can be better explained in its documentation.
